9th Annual WOA Music Festival - Goa 2017

PANAJI, India - Feb. 8, 2017 - PRLog -- The W.O.A Entertainment Group kicks off the 9th Annual WOA International Music Festival in association with 9XO, Fiesta Beach Resort and WOAFM99, taking place in Goa, from the 18th to 25th of February 2017.



This is the event that brings together Independent Music's breakthrough artists from around the world to perform live in concert across Goa, India. Few can come close to the scale of the Annual W.O.A International Music Festival, featuring multi genre international bands performing across the best live music venues in the region, organised every year by WOA Entertainment, supported by partners like 9XO, the International Music Channel of India (Media Partners). Fiesta Beach Resort, the best boutique resort in Goa (Official Host Partner) and WOAFM99, the Internationally Distributed Radio show (Official Radio Partner), all coming together to promote breakthrough Independent Artists in a major nationally promoted and publicised Live Music Tour.



Headlining this year's festival is MTV Europe Music Awards Nominated Acoustic Rockstar Oliver Sean with his International Band. The music video for Oliver Sean’s hit single ‘New York’ premiere worldwide on 9th October on Vh1 and RTP International

W.O.A Entertainment -  MTV Europe Music Awards nominated acoustic Rock Star Oliver Sean announces the world premiere of the brand new music video for his hit single ‘New York’ on Vh1 and RTP International on 9th October 2016. The audio release of ‘New York’ was done globally across all major stores including iTunes, Soundcloud, Spotify last month and saw the single receiving an unprecedented number of plays and downloads, reporting over 1,50,000 plays and downloads on soundcloud. With the launch of the music video on the 9th of October, the song is expected to reach greater heights.

"Its a fantastic video if I say so myself" says Oliver Sean, "we filmed it across the UK and New York and is an excellent representation of the song. I cant wait for fans to watch it when it premieres worldwide on the 9th of October”

Aside from being a world class musician and record producer, Oliver Sean is also a highly sought after filmmaker. Music videos directed by Oliver have received MTV EMA nominations, Vh1 Top 10’s and several other high profile accolades. So it was a no brainer when he decided to direct the New York music video himself and was supported in the making of this music video by his long time manager Wanda Alvares who has also been part of the cinematography and production of the New York music video. 

"The music video was filmed in different locations and we also had PM and Stacey Schulman, the artists who have collaborated with me on the song, film their video parts in New Jersey and Maryland, which was then added into the music video” says Oliver Sean, “the video also shows parts of the recording process of the song, touring in the UK with the Oliver Sean Band, me in the heart of new york city and overall just has a real positive vibe that fans will enjoy”

Vh1 and RTP International will be premiering the music video on the 9th and 10th of October exclusively on their channels, followed by various other networks broadcasting the video starting from the 11th of October, including the video going online. Music videos directed by Oliver have received MTV EMA nominations, Vh1 Top 10's and several other high profile accolades. So it was a no brainer when he decided to direct the New York music video himself and was supported in the making of this music video by his long time manager Wanda Alvares who has also been part of the cinematography and production of the New York music video. 

"The music video was filmed in different locations and we also had PM and Stacey Schulman, the artists who have collaborated with me on the song, film their video parts in New Jersey and Maryland, which was then added into the music video" says Oliver Sean, "the video also shows parts of the recording process of the song, touring in the UK with the Oliver Sean Band, me in the heart of new york city and overall just has a real positive vibe that fans will enjoy"

Vh1 and RTP International will be premiering the music video on the 9th and 10th of October exclusively on their channels, followed by various other networks broadcasting the video starting from the 11th of October, including the video going online. Fans will also be interested to know that Vh1 will run a special 'Oliver Sean New York' contest for fans starting on the 11th of October, which is Oliver Sean's birthday, on their Television channel and social media where fans can win Oliver Sean goodies.
