W.O.A International releases the second volume of their successful GCZ compilation CD series with percentage of sales pledged towards animal welfare.

Goa, India – Aug 12, 2009 – W.O.A International proudly announces the launch of the second volume in the Goa Chillout Zone Compilation CD collection. With the first volume in this collection going platinum, several songs from the compilation were picked up by labels like Universal music and various film and TV series. This years release comprises of 26 world artists from both the company's record label W.O.A Records as well as unsigned acts. Keeping with the theme and format of volume 1 this compilation also is an eclectic double CD bringing together some of the very best artists in independent music today. Best of all, it's part of an extremely worthwhile cause as is the main theme and idea of the Goa Chillout Zone series – Musicians for Peace and Animal welfare.

"After the success of volume one of the Goa Chillout Zone compilation we decided to increase the push that the compilation series gets from us and our media partners, this compilation was our way of getting together artists for a worthy cause and at the same time promote them on a major level" says Wanda Alvares, Executive Vice President / Head of Marketing "The result of the support and marketing of this album by W.O.A Records worldwide saw several of the Goa Chillout Zone artists being picked up by Universal Music Australia for their World Lounge Cafe series, various TV series and 2 major Feature films. Also we are continuing our plan of giving back to a cause we believe passionately in which is animal welfare. For every CD sold, we will give 10% of the sale to a charity that supports animal welfare."

With the governments in many countries not providing facilities or funding to help stray animals it is a sad state of affairs for all animals. W.O.A International recognizes that it's something that won't be changed overnight, but passionately believe that continued support for this cause will eventually win through.

The Goa Chillout Zone CD Vol. 2 is the second release in the planned five-volume collection. Bringing together the best that W.O.A Records has to offer like Mark Hvilsted and The Wilkins from W.O.A Records, as well as Independent acts like Jamie Holden, Cajita and other top Independent artists.

With 10,000 copies being pressed and distributed to iTunes and Nokia music stores as well as retailers and radio stations worldwide including top clubs at holiday destinations like Ibiza, Goa, etc, it's an excellent opportunity for unsigned artists to be heard by large audiences.
