This is the 'Independent No.1's CHRISTMAS SPECIAL'.  The Independent No.1's brand has grown through the past 5 years to become one of the most requested and sought after Indie Mainstream compilations by commercial radio, venues, malls and restaurant chains.  SUBMIT YOUR HOLIDAY SONG HERE The CHRISTMAS SPECIAL (special edition) of the Independent No.1's has been in the works for sometime and been requested constantly by artists, radio and restaurant/retail chains we have been working with these past 5 years. Finally we have put our distribution and promotions plan in action for the 2015 Christmas Holidays and are all set to release the very first of the Christmas editions of the Independent No.1's compilation (Special Edition).  ALL GENRES are accepted, however the song has to be a holiday specific song and can be an original or a cover song (as long as you have the rights to record the song). There is an inclusion fee to be part of this compilation if selected. Please read all details below before submitting.  Just like our annual mainstream Independent No.'s compilation, (currently getting ready to release its 5th anniversary edition compilation), this Christmas special edition will be supported and promoted on a large scale to radio, media and especially venues, malls and restaurants. WOA Entertainment has also been guaranteed radio specials for all tracks of the album this year on FM radio and other radio formats including online radio and podcasts - not just selected tracks but EVERY track of the christmas edition compilation will get commercial radio AirPlay  SUBMIT YOUR HOLIDAY SONG HERE Due to the album being a holiday specific compilation we will only produce 5000 copies as the first run which will all go towards promotions - radio, press and venues for free. CDs will also be kept in store at major cd and book stores, however many of these stores will be given CDs to giveaway as prizes and giveaways as Christmas gifts.  If you would like to be a part of this highly anticipated and exciting project and receive the high end promotions and support, including adverts on national newspaper the times, radio spots on AIR FM and adverts run on Vh1 that the original Independent No.1's compilation receives, then this is it! No other Indie Christmas compilation can compete with the scale of promotions of the Independent No.1's Christmas Special Vol.1.  IMPORTANT PLEASE READ: To be part of the compilation, if your song is selected, the artist has to pay the inclusion fee of 250 USD to cover initial costs. From any revenue the album makes, the artist will be paid 8% royalties pro rata, however please note that this is primarily a promotional album with all investments going towards promoting this Christmas compilation and the indie artists. Artists signed to PRO's (ASCAP, BMI etc) will benefit from PRO collections as the compilation will be promoted to commercial radio and major venues. Oliver Sean has now announced dates of his Summer Tour that will see the platinum selling artist performing his new stripped down acoustic rock material across the UK, America, Costa Rica and Portugal.

His new single, highly anticipated by his fans, will also be launched during the New York Leg of the tour at the legendary Cafe Wha? on 11th June; the song is titled ‘New York’!

The Invoking the Legends project was started by me and my friends to help animals in distress in places like Goa and other regions where stray animals require as much assistance as possible. This project took off only because of the help of my friends and fans who donated towards this project. Initially we collected around 500 GBP and my team & I doubled that money to kickstart this project. Our first goal was to start some sort of late night emergency outlet for stray dogs and animals in Goa when there is no one around to help them. We have now started work towards this and hope it will make a small difference in the quality of life for these wonderful animals that only have love to give and nothing else.The Bootleg Recordings Vol.1 is the first CD/EP of the Invoking the Legends project with many more to come. All sales money of the CD/Download is utilised in FULL for Animal Welfare. The specially packaged and personally signed CDs are now on their way to all our pledgers/supporters who made this happen. The 7th WOA International Music Festival across India and Dubai ended on a high note as the Goa Chillout Zone Vol.6 was released to media and fans worldwide

W.O.A International - March 2, 2015 - PANAJI, India / Leicester, UK / NYC, USA -- As the 7th Annual WOA International Music Festival and Tour across India and Dubai comes to an end, musicians, fans and media in India and Dubai/UAE region say goodbye to a whole host of International artists who made this years Festival  the best one so far, conceptualised and organised by W.O.A International, in association with Vh1 and Pride Sun Village Resort, annually for the past 7 years.

This year the festival started off with a massive media buzz and thousands of fans in attendance on the 31st of January in Goa, the tour then ended with a bang in Dubai, one day before Valentines Day. The WOA International Music Festival his year featured International stars and upcoming artists alike, from the UK, Portugal, USA, Costa Rica and Canada. Headlining the gigs throughout the WOA International Music Festival and Tour was MTV Europe Music Awards Nominee Oliver Sean, along with Jazz star Laura Ainsworth, Latin Rockers Nagmah and Blues debutant Charu Puri.

One of the highlights this year was the launch of the Global Chill album 'Goa Chillout Zone Vol.6'. The CD was released on stage at the festival by WOA Entertainment Group Founder and MTV EMA Nominee Oliver Sean along with Ex Minister of Power and Environment for Goa, India, Mr. Alexio Sequeira.

"The Goa Chillout Zone Vol.6 releasing this year during the WOA International Music Festival and Tour alongside WOA Stars like Nagmah, Laura AInsworth and Charu Puri is going to give a big boost to the 24 artists that are featured on this album and this compilation as a whole" said Oliver Sean, Producer of the Goa Chillout Zone Series, "releasing it officially in Goa, which is this albums namesake, and during our most successful festival and tour yet, is a moment we will cherish for a long time to come"

The Goa Chillout Zone Vol.6 features 24 International artists from different parts of the world including artists from the WOA International Music Festival 2015. All songs on this double CD are from the Easy Listening or Chillout genres and also features International Indie stars including Canadian new age artist Lenka Lichtenberg who has been making waves in the new age and chillout music markets with her song Open My Eyes and has been featured on past WOA Compilations and various TV channels via the WOA TV Show - All Things Music.

Also making a debut on the Goa Chillout Zone and on a  chillout album for the first time ever is Australian band Moscato who are known to write hit songs that deal with social issues, their previous song 'Why War' created quite a stir on radio stations in India when it was promoted on the WOAFM99 Radio Show. The Goa Chillout Zone this year also features a chillout reggae song by EVER-G, one of Jamaica's upcoming reggae stars.
